2025 King Yuan Fu DEI Annual Event: Thai Songkran Festival & Cultural Experience
To promote a corporate culture rooted in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), King Yuan Fu continues to organize international cultural experience events. On April 11, 2025, the company hosted its first DEI series event of the year — “A Wonderful Thai Day” — themed around Thailand’s Songkran Festival. Employees were invited to take part in traditional water-splashing blessings and experience the Thai sport of sepak takraw, immersing themselves in the rich charm of Thai culture.
At the event, a traditional water-splashing ceremony conveyed blessings of peace and good health, symbolizing hopes for a prosperous new year. The sepak takraw activity offered employees a hands-on experience of one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic traditional sports, fostering teamwork and cross-cultural understanding. The atmosphere was lively, with enthusiastic participation and meaningful interactions.
Through this event, King Yuan Fu not only enhanced employees’ understanding and respect for different cultures, but also demonstrated the company’s concrete actions in promoting both employee well-being and a diverse, inclusive workplace.
