DEI and Inclusion | King Yuan Fu Christmas Basketball Challenge
Festive Care Beyond Borders: DEI Starts from the Heart
On December 19, 2025, King Yuan Fu implemented its corporate spirit of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) through a series of festive activities. The specially designed “Fil-Very Good Day” Christmas celebration was more than just a party; it was a bridge to connect colleagues of different nationalities, allowing our overseas partners working in Taiwan to feel the warmth of their hometown traditions.
Fun Basketball Challenge: Laughter that Breaks Language Barriers
Considering the immense importance of basketball in Philippine culture, we organized a “Mini Basketball Challenge.” As seen in the video below, colleagues wore creative head-mounted hoops and engaged in joyful interaction. The goal of this activity was not competition, but to create an equitable and relaxed space where partners from different backgrounds could connect through laughter, showcasing the incredible cohesion of the KYF team.
Embracing Cultural Diversity: Understanding Philippine Christmas Traditions
At the heart of promoting DEI is cultural understanding. The Philippines has the world’s longest Christmas season, with the countdown beginning as early as September. Through these shared moments, our Taiwanese colleagues gained a deeper understanding of our Southeast Asian partners’ traditions. We believe that employee happiness is the cornerstone of sustainable business. Through regular cross-cultural exchanges, we are building a workplace system rooted in mutual respect and inclusion.
Continuing to Build an Inclusive Workplace
King Yuan Fu is convinced that a sense of well-being among employees is essential for long-term success. Through inclusive activities, we are not just hosting events but weaving a resilient team fabric. Moving forward, we will continue to develop diverse inclusion projects, ensuring every “KYF Member” can thrive in a supportive and welcoming environment.
