The “Corporate Carbon Reduction Thermometer” is based on the greenhouse gas assessment model established in the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). It quantitatively evaluates a company’s past performance and future targets, providing a scientific basis aligned with international carbon reduction goals. This certification signifies KYF Packaging’s high maturity and international consistency in carbon management and climate governance.

Actively Implementing Carbon Reduction Actions to Build a Low-Carbon Manufacturing System

KYF Packaging has long been committed to greenhouse gas management and low-carbon process transformation, steadily advancing through the following strategies:

  • Promoting a closed-loop plastic recycling system to strengthen the recycling mechanisms and improve reuse efficiency in manufacturing processes.
  • Procuring renewable energy by actively introducing renewable electricity and solar power generation, advancing toward the RE100 commitment.
  • Increasing the usage ratio of recycled materials (regrind material) to reduce reliance on virgin plastics.
  • Aligning with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) pathway to drive medium- and long-term carbon reduction strategies.
