Kingstone Lectures: Exploring Renewable Energy

Exploring Renewable Energy Applications

On October 16, 2025, Kingstone Lectures held its seventh session, titled “It’s Not Just Electricity You’re Using?! Unlocking a New Perspective on Renewable Energy”, focusing on renewable energy as the central theme. The lecture aimed to enhance employees’ and the public’s understanding of sustainable energy and green living practices.

This session specially invited our sustainability partner, Mr. Knox Wang, Vice President of Anneal Energy, as the keynote speaker, who provided an in-depth analysis of the diverse aspects and future potential of green energy.

Analysis of Six Major Renewable Energy Generation Methods

During the lecture, Mr. Wang introduced six primary renewable energy generation methods and emphasized their key role in energy transition. These renewable energy sources not only effectively reduce carbon emissions but can also be combined to ensure stable electricity supply and environmental friendliness.

The six renewable energy generation methods are as follows:

  • Solar Power: Converts solar radiation into electricity through photovoltaic panels.

  • Wind Power: Generates electricity by harnessing wind energy to drive turbines.

  • Hydropower: Uses the potential or kinetic energy of flowing water to drive turbines.

  • Biomass Energy: Converts organic materials, such as agricultural and forestry waste or crops, into energy.

  • Biogas Power: Produces biogas through anaerobic fermentation, which is then burned to generate electricity.

  • Geothermal Energy: Uses heat from the Earth’s interior to produce steam that drives turbines.

The event atmosphere was lively, and participants actively engaged in interactions, reflecting the high level of public interest in renewable energy topics.

Towards a Clean and Sustainable Energy Future

Kingstone Lectures not only provides a platform for learning and exchange but also aims to inspire the public to adopt green lifestyles and collectively contribute to the Earth’s sustainable future.

Kingstone believes that every unit of renewable energy used represents a commitment to the planet’s future. It is not just a choice of energy, but a tangible practice of environmental responsibility. Through the continuous promotion of renewable energy and sustainability education, the company hopes to work hand in hand with all partners to address the challenges of climate change and move toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
