2025 H1 ESG Proposal Awards – Top Performing Units Announced
To advance energy conservation, carbon reduction, and resource circulation, KYF actively promotes ESG improvement proposals by encouraging employees to independently generate ideas and proactively optimize production processes. Through concrete actions, the company enhances both environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.
The list of award recipients for ESG improvement proposals in the first half of 2025 has been officially announced. Four key performance categories were led by the following outstanding departments:
- Most Proposals Submitted: Extrusion Department, Dongshan Plant
- Greatest Cost Saver (Highest Cost Savings Achieved): Warehouse Department, Shulin Plant
- Top Energy Saver (Best Energy Efficiency): Engineering Team, Yingge Plant
- Top Waste Reduction Performer (Most Significant Waste Reduction): Warehouse Department, Dongshan Plant
As of now, the improvement proposals have achieved the following concrete results:
- Number of proposals submitted: 193
- Total cost savings: Approximately NT$119 million
- Energy saved: Approximately 9.98 million kWh
- Waste reduction: Approximately 477 metric tons
